Extensions
Connect the Cephable desktop app to the tools you already use. Extensions add connectors, tools, and integrations that run with your own permissions and keep your data on your device.
Extensions let the Cephable desktop app work with the tools you already use. Once an extension is installed and connected, Cephable can search, read, and act on your behalf in that service — using your own account permissions, and only after you explicitly authorize it.
Extensions are managed inside the desktop app under Extensions, which is organized into categories such as Connectors for third-party service integrations.
Available connectors
- Zoom — search meetings and meeting assets, read cloud recordings, and create or read Zoom Docs
More connectors are on the way.
How extensions handle your data
Every Cephable connector follows the same principles:
- You authorize it. Connections use the provider's own official authorization flow (OAuth). Nothing is connected until you approve it in the provider's sign-in page.
- It acts only as you. A connector can see only what your account already has access to. Cephable does not request administrative access.
- Your data stays on your device. Content and access tokens are stored locally and are not routed through, processed by, or stored on Cephable's servers.
- Encrypted in transit. All communication uses TLS 1.2 or higher.
- No advertising or model training. Cephable does not use your connected data for advertising or to train models.
- You can disconnect anytime. Disconnecting from Cephable — or removing the app from the provider's side — revokes access and deletes the stored tokens from your device.
